Mountain Creek is entering the big leagues for the 2003-04 season with their monster park and pipe efforts! They have excavated their pipe's basic shape out of the hill over the summer so that this winter, the pipe will be bigger, steeper, faster, and last longer into the spring...Mountain Creek will also be expanding their Vernon Peak park onto the right side of the Sugar trail, with lots of jibs that will be built in-house by the new Mountain Creek Jib Lab...this will open up space up top for more jumps! Mountain Creek is also hosting the U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix Finals for the first time ever - February 6-8, 2004! | |

Mountain
Creek's natural topography means freeriding opportunities are
unfortunately limited. Mountain Creek's major draw lies in their
pipe and parks, and they pour maximum blood, sweat, and tears
into their efforts. I wouldn't recommend heading off-piste or
into the woods here, as the terrain is really rocky and there
is tons of brush. Of course, if Mountain Creek receives a massive
amount of snow, then who knows? |
