12, 2005: We headed up here for a boardercross race.
Their course was decent - it wasn't the most challenging I've
raced, but their start gate was awesome (meaning it wasn't a foot
off the ground or made from scrap wood)! After the race, we would
have liked to hit their park, but for some reason it was closed
on that Saturday. It was a total bummer, but stilI got some aerial
shots of what they had from the lift. Fortunately, the snow was
phenomenal -light and dry fluff, courtesy of a foot and a half
dump the day before. Still, we decided against sampling Ragged's
double diamond terrain - glades throughout the woods - for there
was still not enough base to eliminate the many prizes lying in
wait. |

| Ragged is one of those homey places where you can leave your bag in the corner of the lodge and it will be there at the end of the day - no locker rental necessary! The lift lines were pleasantly short, perhaps cuz of the main chair, a six person lift, or perhaps because Ragged Mountain is a nice little secret! SHHHH! | ||
