| January
14, 2005: Winter Park has again stepped it up a notch
this season to become a major player on the Colorado TP circuit.
The Railyard, their expert-level park, is chock full of monster
tables, an excellent Superpipe, and a new feature, Replica Rails,
which replicate actual famous and infamous street rails from the
metro Denver area. The last jump in the Railyard I like to call
a "blue-sky jumps," because it is so big that when you
head up the take-off, all you see is blue sky! WP also has a medium
sized park on the Jack Kendrick trail, with good-sized ride-on rails
and 10-20 foot tabletops to practice on before throwing down in
the Railyard. For those new to terrain park riding, there's the
Discovery park with tiny stuff for the novices. |
