January 15th, 2005: Every year now, Vail throws down the Honda Session contest on the same weekend I always end up visiting Colorado. That's cool, because the contest is awesome, with 75 foot tables in the superslope and a plastic quarterpipe in the rail jam (which shaun white always seems to win). However, I have yet to see their complete park in its natural, "non-contest" state. Someday I will I guess...Regardless, Vail spares no expense for these contest booters and piles up an amount of snow that would dwarf every ski area in the midwest. Sometimes they have fireworks, rappers, and ninjas too! Actually, the ninja sightings have not been confirmed, probably just some ripping 19 year old Scanner showing Colorado how its done! Get to Vail sometime, you won't be disapointed!
