January 18, 2005: Keystone has more rails than every other resort in the world: combined! There had to have been at least 100 different rails there! Now, before you get too excited, about 80-90 of them were sitting off trail in the woods, but during my visit Keystone was also suffering from a meager base, so they have an excuse - maybe. There were not many jumps built then either, just a couple of gnarly step down gap umps and a two-footer in the kiddie park, but again, Momma Nature wasn't very generous with the snow at that time either. When the white stuff is abundant, Keystone is the place to be for tons of sick rails, speed lines & huge rollers down the front side, and nighttime riding...
