| Oak
Hill Skateboard Area - Oak Hill, WV |
| |
|
| This
place better date back to the Seventies, or somebody is really living
under the rock of modern skatepark design. Big downhill asphalt basin
with nearly useless obstacles such as the four inch tall rails, the asphalt
"bases" (???), and the metal launch ramp. It was kinda fun to
cruise around this joint on the Campus Cruiser for a few, but then I got
bored and drove to Charleson, WV. |

| If
you know anything about the history of this joint, please email The Sideways
Guide. I would like to know more about this place. |
| |
| DIRECTIONS:
Take I-64 to Exit 156. Take Rt. 19 North for a few miles to Rt.
61 into Oak Hill. Once in "downtown" Oak Hill, bang a left onto
Jones, and follow to the Collins Middle School on the left. At the school,
turn left onto this little side road called Thurmond Drive. Follow Thurmond
drive behind the school straight back to the "skateboard area." |
