This
park opened in 1989, which makes it a pretty damn old skatepark,
especially for New York. The sick bowl was added a few years ago,
built by Breaking Ground Skateparks. It's a phenomenal ride, and
worth a long drive to skate. The rest of the park is... .
Helmets required, full pads for 18 and younger, and its $10 to skate
if you're from out of town. Park is open seasonally. Call (518)
587-3555 x456 for more info. Thanks Cooter. |

| DIRECTIONS:
Take the I-87 Northway to exit 14, and head west on 9P. Turn right
onto Henning Rd, and follow it to Rt. 29. Turn left on 29, and follow
for about a 1/2 mile till you see a big ass recreation park on your
left at the intersection of Lake and Granger. The skatepark is in
the middle of it. |
