| Wally
Holliday built this bowl, so you know the finish is smooth as
a baby's butt. It rides pretty good, and the coping is like ice,
but that will change over time. As for the rest of the park, it's
prefabbed crap, maybe skatewave, maybe someone else's junk, who
knows? These same type of ramps are in Hoboken, NJ, and there the
black plastic surface was DANGEROUSLY SLIPPERY, and there were huge
half-inch "ca-chunk!" gaps where the ramps met the asphalt.
Big plus is that the beach is just over the dune-LOTS of surf &
girls!!! and the Bare Wires Boardshop is right next to the park
for all your needs. Ultimately, I give this park ten years tops
before that the bowl will be the only thing left, as the ocean's
salty air will have eaten the modular ramps all up like a fat pig! |
