The Nashua, New Hampshire skatepark is a definite stop on a planned roadtrip, or if you're just up that way to visit Grandma, sneak outta the house and head on over to this park ASAP! There are two sections to this Team Pain-built park. The street area has lots of lines and great flow to it. There are two flat banks with ledges running down the sides at one end. In the middle of those banks is a pocket corner with a burly curb on top. In the middle of the course is a small pyramid with a rail and a ledge, and a concrete pump-blob shaped like one of those Nerf boomerangs from back in the day. At the other end of the street course is a half bowl with hips and a tombstone extension that has escalators running down both sides. The concrete isn't necessarily slow, but it is pretty rough. Prepare to lose some serious acreage of skin when you eat it.  The last time I was here, there was a huge bloodstain in the flat of the half-bowl from some dude's crash the day before. Gnarly.
The second section of the Nashua park is what makes it a unique park: The Pool. This hole ain't no bowl-this is a pool! Six feet in the shallow, and eleven in the deep, with a foot or so of vert., this left-bangin' kidney is some serious shit. There is of course real pool coping and tile all the way around, and the mirror in the back of the death box is a nice touch to this sweet contraption. Its surface is smoother than the street course, but will still cause you a lot of pain. There are no fees and no pads required for this park, and those goddamn scooters are not allowed. There are lights until 10 or 11 at night, but they are not very effective, so pack the night-vision goggles or sport your own.
DIRECTIONS: Take I-93 to exit 3. Follow Route 111 WEST until you cross the Merrimack River. The park is immediately on the right, on Bridge St. under the huge grey flagpole. Park and rip that pool!
