| Kennebunk,
ME Skatepark |
| |
|
| I
used to ride with my dad on his business trips to Kennebunk before
I had my license, and he would drop me off here to skate for an
hour or two while he was in his meetings. This park is at least
ten years old now, making it the oldest existing skatepark in Maine,
to my knowledge. The mini ramp is decent, but the rest of the park
is rather shabby with its age. The ripping SPC
indoor park is five minutes away, back next to the turnpike.
Free, no pads, open dawn to dusk. Porta potty or use the woods. |

| DIRECTIONS:
Take Exit 3 off the Maine Turnpike. Head east on Route 35, towards
Kennebunk. Stay right at the fork in the road. At Route One, go
straight through the traffic light, and follow that road. It will
turn 90° to the left after a quarter mile. Keep following it
as it snakes back to the right, and this park will be next on your
left. |
