For now, I've only got shots of two Boston Street Spots, one is a mandatory stop when in Beantown...the other spot has been gone for a while
 
Turtles - Allston, MA
these perfect banks used to be at a playground along the Charles River just outside of Boston...R.I.P. Turtles...
 
 
Boston City Hospital
 
These are the legendary Boston City Hospital banks. Whether intentional or not, the architect who dreamed up this place was definitely taking their shit on schedule! Perfect transitions and smoothly-laid brick is formed into two separate volcanoes, which disguise the two big air vents in the courtyard. One is a sublime foor-foot quarterpipe, and the other is angled and as large as a vert ramp. Also surrounding the site are some stairs, rails, and several other brick bank setups, including the lenghty & steep foor foot flat bank down the sidewalk on Mass Ave. The big volcano has lines of chunky granite blocks intersecting up and across it (see below pic), but the lines don't stick up so much that one can't just bounce over it with sufficent speed. As of this writing, the rest of the place is stopper-free.
Occasionally, parked in the middle of the plaza is a squad car or two (see top pic), so this place can be sometimes hit or miss. I managed to sneak in one run the day of this pic, but the last time my friend & I were there, we skated for a half hour before trouble hit and we bolted. The plaza is also wino & crackhead central, so you are guaranteed some crazy philosophizing bum footage for yer video.
Fees: none, except possible court costs for trespassing tickets Pads: None Hours: Whenever the squad car isn't parked in the middle of the plaza!
