AKA Jankeny! Built by someone who has obviously never built a skatepark
before, it's chock full of complete inexperience in design, yet because
of skateboarding's nature, there are still hits to find and a few lines
as well to jack around on. The street course features a steep steep handrail
and ledge that run straight into the ground that you can smash your teeth
out with, and a third that brilliantly runs out into the grass at the edge
of the park. Some kid there was attempting them with soapshoes. The trannies
on the street quarterpipes are really tight, and the spine has two teardrop
hips on the end that are somewhat workable. There is also a 6-footish keyhole
bowl that is mellow but fun, and the channel flows out onto the street zone.
Free, no pads, open dawn to dusk. |
