spankin' new SDG
concrete in suburban Denver. The fun street area has lots of tech
obstacles such as ledges, rails, and the rooftop wedge-ledge thingage,
and it doesn't have any massive tranny towering over a one foot
tall ledge. |
| |
| From
the street course, there is a short snakerun that winds into a big
bowl with hips and escalatage. Behind that is the self contained
4'-9' bowl |
| |
| If
you really want to enjoy this park, hit it up before school lets
out-unless you like slaloming between millions of little groms and
clueless little girls on Barbie rollerblades. It's free, no pads
required, and open from 8AM to dusk. The fuzz patrols this park
when it's both closed & open. (I know cuz I tried) |
| |
| |
| this
ditch (below) is right next to the park, and definitely skatable
when its dry. Just hit up upstream and not in view of the road to
avoid the fuzz |
| |
| this
dude below obviously JDGAF! but loves to skate anyways |

| DIRECTIONS:
Take I-225 to Exit 5 (Iliff Ave.) Follow Iliff east to Chambers,
and continue straight through the light. After a 1/4 mile, you will
see an apartment complex on your right. The entrance to Wheel Park
is immediately afterwards on the right. Rippin'. |
