| Back
in 1997, this was a hot park for Denver's skaters. Now, in 2003,
it's a ghost town. The concrete bank running along the side of the
park is fun, and the mini ramps are in good solid condition, but
the fun box and pyramid are so poorly designed they made me cry
like a little girl. Given the proximity of the many many concrete
bowls of Denver,
Boulder,
and others in the metro area, don't make a grand vacation out of
getting here. Free, no pads, open dawn to dusk. |

| DIRECTIONS:
Take I-70 to the Wadsworth Blvd. North Exit. Head north on Wadsworth, where
it will curve and change into the Wadsworth Blvd Bypass. regardless, follow
that to 58th Avenue, AKA Ralston Rd. Turn left, and take 58th WEST to Old
Wadsworth Ave.(the one you just bypassed) Turn right (North) onto Old Wadsworth,
then next take a left onto Barbara Ann Drive. Folllow Barbara Ann Drive
WEST to Memorial Park, and you will see the blue mini ramps. |
