Sunnyvale,
CA Skatepark |
| |
 |
|
| Another
Wormhoudt skatepark.
Silky smooth concrete finish. This park FLOWS! The bowl setup is good. Depths
are 4'-8' deep, with plenty of roll-ins. The coping is steel. The street
elements are on the outer areas... ledges, rails, stairs, etc. Watch out
for the pad police. An emergency call box is on site along with a squeegee
roller to dry out the park after those Northern California rains! Park is
open 7am to sunset. A park security guard comes by and locks the gate. Like
all N. Cal skateparks, no lights. |

squeegies
are always a good idea |
call
boxes are much better (as well as cheaper and less liable) than soccer
moms or cops |
| |
| DIRECTIONS:
Take the Sunnyvale Fair Oaks Exit off 101 and travel south. Follow Fair
Oaks for about three blocks. The road will fork, stay to your left and make
the first left hand turn into Fair Oaks park. The skatepark is on the corner
of Wolfe Road and Fair Oaks. |
