This site started originally
on my personal site, www.thechraveler.com,
as a section of "skateparks I've been to." Pretty soon I realized
that I had been to quite a few skateparks, and figured why not make the
section into its own site - and The Sideways Guide was born. I started adding
the snow terrain parks in the winter of 2002-03, and I'll keep adding them
until the last flake falls. |

While
this is one of the first snowboard park guide web sites
out there, this was not the first skatepark guide site
on the web. There are many other great sites dedicated
to skateparks, and you can find links to some of them
on the skatelinks
page.
The
Sideways Guide is committed to offering the best detailed
pictures and accurate information on the web to give you,
the road-tripping skater, biker, blader, skier, snowboarder,
snow skater - whoever you may be - a heads up before you
start out on your next road trip. Thanks for your support.
